HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, April 1, 2013 – sageCrowd announced today the signing of Marshall Goldsmith to its online collaborative learning platform.

Goldsmith is the author of over 30 books, including New York Times best-sellers What Got You Here Won’t Get You There and Mojo. He was recently recognized as the world’s #1 leadership thinker by the Harvard Business Review.

sageCrowd is a collaborative learning platform that delivers an easier way for followers and fans of self-improvement authors to reach their personal development goals.

“We wanted to create an easier, effective way for people to pursue personal and professional development. We believe social learning is a better way,” says Sean Sears, sageCrowd Co-Founder and Chair. “We’re excited and honored to work with Dr. Goldsmith. This will help his millions of readers to learn and adopt  his teachings in a fun, easy and social environment."

This agreement will allow the development of The Marshall Goldsmith Channel on sageCrowd, planned for launch later this year. Initial content will be based on Goldsmith’s book What Got You Here Won’t Get You There, which explores twenty negative habits that hold us back in our personal and professional lives and the strategies to improve on them.

“I've seen the challenges faced by the executives I coach as they try and make improvements in their lives,” said Marshall Goldsmith. “This new approach could make a real difference for them.”
